‏Annie Markson was born in Paris and grew up across the Mediterranean coast in multiple cities such as Rome and Athens, yet is absolutely in love with sunny little Israel! Israel with all its raw energy and spunk is a constant source of inspiration for her designs.

‏Annie knew from a very early age that she wanted to pursue a career in fashion. She studied at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, IL.

‏Annie won a scholarship from Delta – Marks & Spencer for delivering an innovative and surprising collection of flirtatious and daring lingerie for pregnant women. Due to her talent, Annie was invited to two positions in Europe. The first at Delta Textiles Ltd. in London and the second at Concepts Paris, the world leading lingerie, nightwear and beachwear trend source.
‏In 2001, after graduating Shenkar College with honors, Annie was called back to Concepts Paris. In 2003, missing the bright sunlight of Israel, Annie returned home and shortly joined the house of Gottex where she has worked ever since. Annie was a part of the luxurious Gottex Gold brand and worked alongside the Head Designer, Michal Shafir, for two years followed by three years with Gideon Oberson. She designed for cruise and spring collections that were presented during New York Fashion Week.

‏Annie's design for the Gottex 2006 fashion show was chosen to be on the front cover of the "Gottex- swimwear haute couture" book which was published to indicate and celebrate Gottex's 50th Anniversary.

‏In 2010, for the re-launch of SILVER by Gottex, Annie was appointed Head Designer for the brand. After spotting the growing demand for fashionable cup-sized swimwear, Annie gave the brand new life by offering a new approach to cup sizes with her colorful, bold, sexy and always fashionable designs.
